Dr. Henry J. Blum MD is a board-certified knee surgeon who provides expert care from his practices in Bellaire and Sugar Land, TX. In more than 25 years in practice, Dr. Blum has helped thousands of patients regain mobility, reduce pain, and improve their quality of life through advanced surgical techniques and technology, such as the ConforMIS Customized Knee Implant.

Education and Background

Prior to becoming a board certified knee surgeon Dr. Blum received training from some of the most prestigious academic institutions in the county

Dr. Blum graduated cum laude with a B.S. in Biology from the University of Texas before earning his medical degree at the University of Texas Medical School in Houston, Texas. Following his residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Dr. Blum participated in fellowship training in arthritis and joint replacement at the University of Texas Medical School in Dallas, Texas.

Currently, Henry Blum MD serves academic appointments as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine, as Clinical Instructor at Texas Women’s University, and as Clinical Assistant Professor of Family Practice at the University of Texas Medical School.
